The Sixth International Meeting of the Paulo Freire Forum is organized in
two modalities:
Conferences and Culture Circles.
1) CONFERENCES - 9/16 and 9/17
Conferences are open to
all event registrants. They will take place in the Theater of the Pontifical University of Sao Paulo (TUCA). There will be five large conferences. To participate, the public should register through the internet before September 10th or until all available seats are filled. If there is still room available after the conference starts, participants can register just before the start of the event.

2) CULTURE CIRCLES - 9/18 and 9/19
The second dimension is meant for
registrants who will present work at the Forum (up to 300 people). The Culture Circles will be made up of people from Brazil and other countries who have had their work
approved by the Selection Committee. The participants will present and debate their work in both morning and afternoon sessions.
Observations:
a)
People with work registered and approved by the Selection Committee will be part of the Cuture Circles and may also participate in all conferences and cultural activities.
b)
Everyone else will participate only in the five conferences on September 16th and 17th and in the
cultural activities.
c) There will also be parallel meetings related to research projects which involve groups from the Freirian Community.
3) CULTURAL PROGRAMME - from the 19h
- 9/16 to 9/20 - Exhibition: "Paulo Freire: educate to transform" - (Location: foyer of PUC).
- 9/16 – Theater play - "On dreams and hope" - show inspired on the work of Paulo Freire (Location: TUCARENA).
- 9/17 – Round table - "Paulo Freire, art and culture" (Location: TUCA).
- 9/18 - Movie: "Meeting with Milton Santos or the world seen from this side" (Location: Area Banespa).
- 9/19 - Paulo Freire Award – Solemn ceremony for the 3rd edition of the Award (Location: Sao Paulo City Chamber).
